If instead of copying the chart by clicking on it I were to select the area in excel that has the chart on it along with some text in cells from the same area, I would have the same font issues in PowerPoint. If I update the link (File>Edit Links to Files>Update Now) the font changes slightly: still fuzzyĪnd not its original shape, but now the font is even darker.
In the 'Paste Special' Dialogue Box I click on 'Paste link' (underneath 'As:' I have only one choice: 'Microsoft Excel Chart Object')Īt this point, if I print (or create a PDF) the PowerPoint page with the pie chart, the font appears distorted (a bit fuzzy, darker and not its original shape).
